Queens’ pride: responsibly farmed Panga

Queens Panga was the first in the world to be granted the ASC quality mark in 2012. Something we’re incredibly proud of!

Queens entered into a partnership with Panga supplier Vinh Hoan from Vietnam in 2002. This led to the introduction of Panga in the Netherlands. Panga has now developed into the most eaten fish in our country!

Vinh Hoan has become the number 1 producer in Vietnam as a result of Panga’s global success. Vinh Hoan is run by a very passionate entrepreneur, Mrs Khanh. She isn’t just focussed on sustainability and quality, but also actively works on the employees’ living and working conditions. A great deal of effort goes into charity for the environment too, like supporting poverty, student or elderly funds. Nature is also given a helping hand by using sludge from the pond bottoms for fertilising plants and crops.

Vinh Hoan’s sustainability philosophy doesn’t stop at fish production.

Queens Panga was the first in the world to be granted the ASC quality mark in 2012, something we’re incredibly proud of. This is the direct result of the strictly controlled farming process, which Vinh Hoan has been at the forefront of for many years. For example, the fish is consciously farmed and processed from the egg right through to the fillet. This process, including the production of the fish feed, is fully integrated into Vinh Hoan’s production chain.

Vinh Hoan and Queens share a passion for Panga. This has resulted in a unique & sustainable collaboration!
